Song #31, Christ Lives In Me (Gal. 2:20, 3:13, 5:1)

Song #31  “Christ Lives in Me”  (Galatians 2:20; 3:13; 5:1)

The greatest revelation one can ever experience in life is “Christ in me, the hope of glory.”

My song, “Christ in Me” has not been recorded yet, but live versions can be heard at the Camarillo Healing Rooms occasionally.

Lyrics:

I am crucified with Christ, it’s no longer I who live

but Christ lives in me, Christ lives in me…

And the life that I now live, in this flesh, I live by faith

Of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me…

Jesus redeemed me from the curse of the law

when He became a curse for me (it’s written)

Cursed is everyone who hangs upon a tree

He has redeemed us, you and me…

So I’ll stand fast…in the liberty…by which Christ…has made me free

and I won’t be caught again as a slave…

The very nature of man is driven by self preservation, so, to submit oneself to identify with Christ’s crucifixion, to be spiritually and emotionally invested in God’s plan, is a pathway that not many have or will choose…but those who do choose to make that exchange (my life for His) will experience life on God’s terms. God always chooses life over death, health over sickness, the miraculous over the mundane. The liberty that is experienced when living “In Christ” cannot be adequately explained in natural terms, but those who have lived and are living “In Christ” will tell of joy unspeakable and full of glory; remarkable provision of substance and instances of impossible doors of opportunity being opened. God’s ways are always laced with grace and mercy beyond our deservedness…but He delights in pouring blessings upon those who choose Him.

Exchanging my life for His allows me to live by His faith, which is way greater than my own. Jesus’ sacrifice also paid for my freedom from being shackled to the past, current, and future curses that would hinder me from true freedom. We can “Stand Fast”, be unmovable, and not be knocked off of the place God has brought us into.

As you meditate on the lyrics of “Christ In Me”, make them personal…make the exchange…your ordinary life for His extraordinary super-natural life.

May you be enriched by living “In Christ”.
